#1 Change Your Environment

By changing what is outside, your inner habits will have to change to cope with this. Many people try taking unhealthy food out of the cupboards and put their running shoes near the door so they have to go for a jog in the morning etc. This way, you are removing the obstacles outside that are stopping you from getting that lean body you desire.

#2 Long-Term

It makes sense to make sure what you really want firstly. Do you want to lose weight for the long-term or the short-term? What do you think about the difference between long-term and short-term goals? I tend to think that you need different strategies to achieve each. Would you use a poker strategy to play basketball?

To lose weight as fast as possible it will take huge changes in your lifestyle but the long-term benefits are excellent. Think of how much different every area of your life would change with a fitter leaner body. Imagine playing with the kids, being the envy of your friends and having the energy to pursue all those lofty goals that you set yourself.

#3 Diet

All people that I have met who have lost weight fast have one essential thing in common. They all dieted. I think we all know this deep down. Do you think you could do this? Are you willing to make these vital changes to your diet? This is not for any old person, only those who truly know and have the power to put themselves out there in order to achieve the lifestyle that they want.

#4 Rewards

By rewarding yourself, your brain will think "I get good things when I lose weight" and go after it as a goal. This will save you loads of time and make it much less stressful on you as you can indulge in a little pleasure every so often. It becomes fun, like a game.
