Looking for a natural head lice remedy? You're not alone. Remember in grade school once a year they would call the students down to the nurse's office, line us all up and check for head lice? The nurse would comb through your hair with the popsicle sticks and you hoped you weren't the kid who had the lice. There are some natural ways to get rid of that nasty head vermin and keep it from reoccurring for you and not your child. The nasty vermin can spread from person to person so be very careful when dealing with yourself of someone who has this problem, don't pat them on the head and say what a good kid you have been, that would be a mistake.
One of the more common ways to treat head lice is with the combination of mayonnaise, tea tree oil, white vinegar, and mix them all up and put them into a spray bottle. Separate your hair every so often and spray it onto the scalp until the entire head is covered. Keep the spray in for about 20 minutes and warp your head in a towel if necessary. Also putting some tea tree oil in your shampoo will help treat the lice as well.
You can create your own recipe for treating lice and see what works best of you using tea tree oil, mayonnaise, and white vinegar. You can repeat these steps you feel necessary to give you a peace of mind and make sure that lice is 100% dead. It would also be good to spray down your entire house where lice may be found such as pillows, bed sheets, couches, with some water and tea tree oil left over. This will kill the bugs and prevent further outbreaks of head lice. If you child does have head lice it is important to tel other parents this so they can take precautions and are aware of the head lice situation.
