Going on a diet does NOT mean that you have to starve yourself senselessly. Instead, going on a diet means eating sensibly, watching what you put into your mouth and carefully using up your energy resources during the day so that left-over energy source cannot be turned into fat. The strange thing is that many women spend an insane sum of money trying to shed their weight, but this is not necessary. As long as you keep to a regime, change your lifestyle and eat sensibly, it's all the 'price' that you have to pay.
The pendulum could swing either way.....some women look younger after losing some weight but underweight women tend to look older and haggard. On the other hand, overweight women also look a lot older than their real age. The solution? To strike as close as possible to your ideal weight without overdoing the weight loss regime. Dietary control and lots of exercise should do the trick because it gives you muscle mass while trimming down your body.
Changing your lifestyle....permanently is a necessary part of losing weight. You see, you could lose your weight now and start feeling the benefits of looking, feeling and behaving much younger than you have in years. The only problem is this - how long do you think it will stick if you don't STICK to the regime and diet that you started. In order to stay slim and make your effort count for something, you'll have to make permanent changes to your lifestyle.
What are you putting into that mouth? Have you ever thought about that? I know a lot of women (including me) who grab stuff off the shelves without checking the label. It's not the most fun thing to do, I have to admit, but there's really no way to avoid this if you want to make sure you consuming healthy, good food. If you have someone else get your groceries for you, check the labels out yourself, note the brand down and pass this information onto the person who will be helping you with your grocery-shopping. Trust me, the effort will be well worth your time in the long run.
Everyone, not just you, will hit a weak point whenever we're trying to lose weight. Sometimes you would sit there and wonder if all that effort was worth it. If you don't want to screw up your chances of losing weight, you should tell everyone you know about how serious you are about losing weight. I know it's agonizing for some because the chance of failure is there and it's bad enough to screw up in front of yourself but...the rest of the world? Well, my advice is to let this propel you forward. Let the fact that your friends are going to give you hard time if you don't follow through be a motivating factor for you. When everyone's already in on your secret, they've got a stake in it too, so, the less you want to fail in front of your family and friends, the higher the chances of you succeeding.
